At a young age I wanted to become an artist. But it wasn’t until after my children were grown and I retired from my working days that I was fully able to realize my artistic passion.
After a period of studying art history and trying to learn from books how to paint, I then started taking lessons in Fine Arts and Contemporary Art. Over the years I learned and was inspired by several very experienced and influential teachers. My main focus in artistic pursuits has always been to portray the beauty or nostalgia that I see, and to always present my own positive perspective of life. After being brought up on St.Urbain St. In Montreal, then moving to and working in Toronto, and later for 3 years in Israel, I now reside in Pierrefonds with my husband and our two dogs. |
Dés un jeune âge, je voulais devenir artiste, mais ce ne n’est qu’une fois mes enfants devenus grands et après avoir pris ma retraite que j’ai pu réaliser ma passion artistique. Après une courte période à étudier l’histoire de l’art et à essayer d’apprendre à peindre avec des livres, j’ai commencé à prendre des cours en beaux-arts et en art contemporain. Au fil des ans, j’ai appris et ai été inspirée par plusieurs professeurs expérimentés et respectés.
Le focus principal de met activités artistiques a toujours été de representer la beauté et la nostalgie que j’observe et de toujours présenter mon propre point de vue de la vie. Après avoir été élevée sur la rue St-Urbain à Montréal, je suis déménagée à Toronto ou j’ai travaillé, puis par la suite en Israël. J’habite maintenant à Pierrefonds avec mon mari et mes deux chiens. |
