Art has always been a part of my life. I’ve explored a variety of mediums and pursued Fine Arts at John Abbott and Dawson College. At Concordia University I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Graphic Design and Photography. After working in Graphic Design I went to McGill University and completed a Teaching Diploma in Art Education.
Painting is a way for me to depict light, colour and form in an aesthetically pleasing way. I am inspired by beautiful moments around us in the world and aim to convey that beauty in my paintings. The natural flow and unpredictability of watercolour comes closest to replicating my feelings. |
L'art a toujours fait partie de ma vie. J’ai exploré une variété de médiums et poursuivi mes études en beaux-arts à John Abbott et au Collège Dawson. À l'Université Concordia, j'ai obtenu un baccalauréat en beaux-arts avec une spécialisation en design graphique et en photographie. Après avoir travaillé en design graphique, je suis allé à l'Université McGill et j'ai complété un diplôme d'enseignement en éducation artistique.
La peinture est pour moi une façon de représenter la lumière, la couleur et la forme d’une manière esthétique. Je m'inspire des beaux moments qui nous entourent dans le monde et je vise à transmettre cette beauté dans mes peintures. Le flux naturel et l’imprévisibilité de l’aquarelle se rapprochent le plus de la reproduction de mes sentiments. |
