Nancy Boisvert

Nancy Boisvert is a Montreal-based fine artist working primarily in oil. Her work blends realistic wildlife and figurative subjects with subtle contemporary and whimsical elements, creating images that feel both familiar and imaginative.

A self-taught painter for more than twenty years, she also explores mixed media and encaustic to add texture and depth to her pieces.

Nancy is inspired by animals and living beings, and by the ways they connect; emotionally, symbolically, and visually. Her paintings often reflect this interplay, combining realism with thoughtful storytelling.

She has participated in group exhibitions in the Montreal area, and her work is held in private collections in North America and Europe.
